Club health check
The RFU and CBs have enjoyed getting closer to many clubs over the last 18 months and we all want to keep this going post-Covid. As we approach the 2021/22 season, we would like to understand how your club's preparations are progressing for the new season.

Please take this short survey to share your news on the return of players and club finances and to highlight what support you might need this season.

It will only take five minutes to complete, but it will be invaluable in helping CBs and the RFU to prioritise where we can support you.

Pitch Up
As we continue to prepare for the Pitch Up for Rugby celebration, digital assets and editable posters will be shared via the below link at the end of the week to help you to re-engage players and build interest for events being held between 4 – 12 September.

If your club registered their interest and will be hosting a Pitch Up event in September, please complete the confirmation form below, providing your final event details, by Friday 20 August. This means we can then promote your event on our find rugby page and provide as much support as possible with the planning and preparation.

Warrior Camps
We have created an editable press release to help clubs to promote their Warrior Camps in September.

The template includes quotes from Rugby World Cup winner Danielle Waterman, who explains why she’s backing England Rugby’s Allianz Inner Warrior campaign and why Warrior Camps are so successful in introducing more people to rugby, as well as encouraging women back to the sport after a break.

Supporting Age Grade players coming back to rugby
Last week, we shared the age grade to adult transition resources to help those supporting players through their first steps into adult rugby. The on-field and off-field guidance provide tips, ideas and tools for this key group of players' post-Covid.

Resources are now available to support age grade coaches and managers with the re-introduction of rugby. These have been developed by specialist teams with the challenge of the last 18 months in mind. They will be relevant as groups get together in August.

See the Age Grade Specific Guidance section on the Summer Activity page, where you will find toolkits for U7/8, U9-13, U14-18 and dedicated support for girls at U13, U15 and U18. There is also a section focussing on Return to Scrummaging – Crouch, Bind, Set section.

Annual D&I Survey – Friday 20 August
We first conducted this research a year ago, and used the findings to create our Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan. To see if there has been progress, we would like to ask you and your club members complete the survey again, even if you participated last year.

We appreciate that volunteers’ time is limited so wanted to let you know now in case you prefer to assign the club health check and distribution of the D&I survey to different representatives. The survey will be shared via direct email later next week. Please encourage your club members to complete this before Friday 3 September, 11.59pm.
